Management techniques when performing work for clients. Here we give a brief overview.

Project Management disciplines are woven into the fabric of every project performed be it formal, informal large (major), or small (minor). Project Management techniques are applied through out the life cycle of every project for which there are tangible deliverables. We assess risk and perform SWOT analysis on any project that is classified as major. The PERT chart technique is the method of choice where not only is a network diagram created, its critical path is also identified. This technique enables us to manage projects in an organized and timely manner, where we can quantify results primarily because we operate in multi-project environments where dead-lines overlap. We take full advantage of any float in the schedule and track any lagging task or milestone very closely, always looking for a conclusion or solution. Problem areas are identified immediately and mitigated quickly. We believe that as project managers our preference is that we can be much more effective when activities are planned, however we often find ourselves in "unplanned activity" situations that must be addressed on the spur of the moment - as professionals we rise to the occasion.

The program (or project) evaluation and review technique, commonly abbreviated PERT, is a statistical tool, used in project management, which was designed to analyze and represent the tasks involved in completing a given project. First developed by the United States Navy in the 1950s, it is commonly used in conjunction with the critical path method (CPM).
